Mike, a Massachusetts native, started working at UFP in 1997 at the Belchertown, Massachusetts plant, performing various duties such as stacking, tagging, and building. In 1998, he interned at the Ranson, West Virginia plant as a sales assistant for the Account Management Team. He then transitioned to a full-time role in 1999 as a Customer Service Representative. In 2000, Mike returned to Belchertown, working as a Truss Designer and then as an Account Manager, becoming a Senior Account Manager by 2005.

In 2006 Mike participated in the company’s Starz program. Starz is a two-year leadership program designed to give participants the skills and competencies they’ll need to support our organic and acquisition growth. It covers everything from leadership development to understanding the P&L. Mike graduated from the program in 2008.

In 2008 he was recognized by the executive leadership team and was awarded membership in the prestigious CEO Club for demonstrating performance, integrity, loyalty, a grasp of UFP’s mission, excellent sales skills, and having met or exceeded his sales goals.

In 2008 he became the General Manager of the Belchertown Plant. After six years of managing this facility, he was promoted to Regional Vice President of the Northeast. In 2020, Mike became the Executive Vice President of UFP Site Built.

Under Mike’s leadership, UFP Site Built is integrating new technology and automation in the manufacturing process. It’s expanding its product offering to include light gauge metal construction components and prefabricated aluminum deck solutions and growing the service area to new markets and regions. Mike also believes in providing his team with the best work environment and training opportunities in the industry and is focused on recruiting top talent to ensure UFP Site Built maintains its best-in-class position in the industry long into the future.

Mike resides in Massachusetts with his wife and children, who are very active in sports. In their leisure time, they enjoy the beaches of Cape Cod, and you can occasionally find Mike on the golf course trying to improve his game.
