Dwain is a Texas native and graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in marketing. He started his career in 1991 as a sales trainee for Temple-Inland, a corrugated packaging and building products company based in Lufkin, Texas, and then moved to inside sales.
In 1994, Dwain started his journey with UFP as a sales trainee with our Saginaw, Texas facility and in 1995 became an Account Manager.
In 1998 he was recognized by the executive leadership team and was awarded membership in the prestigious CEO Club for demonstrating performance, integrity, loyalty, a grasp of UFP’s mission, excellent sales skills, and having met or exceeded his sales goals. In 1999 he became the sales manager of the Saginaw Plant.
In 2001 Dwain took on a new role and became the GMO of our Schertz, Texas plant; in 2005, he became the Regional GMO for Schertz, San Antonio, Kyle, and our Framing Division. In 2015 Dwain was promoted to Regional Vice President / Mid Atlantic.
He is a 28-year veteran with UFP and resides in North Carolina with his wife and children. In his free time, he enjoysfamily, travel, golf, and you can often find him on the water in his boat, off shore fishing.
